vintage classic

What elevates Careless into a timeless collectible is its jaw-dropping roster of guest musicians. Far from a simple solo effort, Bishop assembled an absolute powerhouse of collaborations that helped make his debut album spectacular. Collaboratons with legendary guitarist Eric Clapton on "Save It For A Rainy Day" as well as virtuosos Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour and Jay Graydon contributed their talent on key tracks such as " Never Letting Go" and Little Italy".

The harmonies of Art Garfunkel and the poerful yet soulful textures of Chaka Khan grace the backing vocals of multiple tracks, including "Little Italy". Garfunkel's presence brings a smooth, haunting quality that perfectly complements Bishop's distinctive voice. Artist such as  Andrew Gold provides key guitar work on the signature track "On And On". Meanwhile, elite rhythm sections feature elite players like Jim Gordon, Russ Kunkel, and Victor Feldman contributed their percussive talents as well.

From the bittersweet strings of "One More Night" to the breezy vibe of "On And On," this album represents a golden era of studio perfectionism. Grab this incredibly well-preserved CD reissue and experience this essential vocal pop treasure exactly the way it was meant to be heard!
